Extended reading: the advantages of studying in Denmark
quality of education
Students go abroad to study, so a country's education level is the most important, and a country's investment in its own education is the key to determine the quality of education.
Last year, Danish investment in education accounted for more than 8% of the total expenditure, which has obvious advantages compared with some other developed countries such as Canada, France and Australia, while China's target for this figure is still 4%. This shows that education in Denmark is guaranteed by a large amount of government funds.
Unlike universities all over China, Danish universities have a clearer hierarchy. From eight universities to junior colleges, and then to various professional and technical schools, Danes never feel humiliated just because they entered a junior college or technical school. They are all choosing the school that suits them best. Therefore, the people who can finally enter the university are those who are interested in scientific research or have strong academic talents, which leads to a strong academic atmosphere in the university. For us international students in China, we can have access to the best alumni resources, promote each other and make progress together.
top university
Most China students studying in Denmark go to the top universities in Denmark. Copenhagen University, Danish University of Science and Technology, copenhagen business school University and Aarhus University are all top universities in the world. Moreover, they are all world leaders in their respective professional fields. Copenhagen business school ranks 13 in the latest QS World Business Ranking, DTU and Aalborg University rank in the top 20 in the world in engineering, and Copenhagen University is a well-established university in humanities and social sciences. In other respects, students who like Nordic design must not miss the Royal Danish Institute of Architecture and Aarhus Institute of Architecture, two world-class design schools. Therefore, China students don't have to worry that there are no excellent universities in Denmark, providing schools suitable for students of different levels.
A safe country
My mother always tells me to be safe before I leave, and then I study. Presumably, the safety of children is the most concerned issue for parents, especially in the context of frequent terrorist attacks in Europe. However, it is observed that Denmark is definitely one of the safest countries in Europe. First of all, Denmark has restrictions on the number of refugees.
Especially in some small cities, the streets are almost full of indigenous people, which is relatively safer. In a big city like Copenhagen, the refugee area is separated from other urban areas, and with strict security, the security level has been greatly improved.
High quality and cost performance
Studying abroad is a big investment for families, but the high tuition fees in Britain, the United States, Australia and Canada hinder many students' dreams of studying abroad, while the tuition fees in Denmark have great advantages, ranging from 60,000 to 6,543.8+million RMB per year, plus the total living expenses of about 6,543.8+0.2 million RMB per year, the luxury point will not exceed 6,543.8+0.5 million RMB, and all the expenses of studying an undergraduate course are even more.
About language
Studying in Europe is an unavoidable topic. Danish is famous for its strange pronunciation and learning difficulties. However, Denmark's English penetration rate ranks among the top three in the world, and more than 90% of Danes can speak fluent English, so there is no need to worry about communication. In addition, the government also provides free Danish courses for students, and students who like languages can systematically learn this unpopular small language.
