The Historical Evolution of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University
The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University was founded in 1939, formerly known as the Affiliated Hospital of Zhongzheng Medical College;

1945 won the Anti-Japanese War and became the "Affiliated Hospital of Zhongzheng Medical College";

After liberation, 1949 was renamed Nanchang Medical College, Huazhong Military Region Medical College, Zhongnan Military Region Medical College, Fourth Military Medical University, Teaching Hospital of Sixth Military Medical University, and Affiliated Hospital of 173 Military Medical Hospital.

1958 changed its name to Nanchang First Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi Medical University and First Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi Medical College after job hopping.

In August 2005, Jiangxi Medical College merged with Nanchang University, and the hospital was renamed as the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University.
