This behavior should be regarded as a violation of personal identity rights, including but not limited to the right to name and the right to education, as well as other identity rights, such as the name of bank loans and personal credit. The infringed person can bring a lawsuit to the court, demanding to revoke the false identity, restore the true identity, compensate for the losses, etc.

Legal basis: Article 10 14 of the General Principles of Civil Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates: "No organization or individual may infringe upon the name right of others by means of interference, embezzlement or counterfeiting."
