The School of Foreign Languages of Jiangnan University was formerly the Department of Foreign Languages of Jiangnan University, which was formed by the merger of the Department of Foreign Languages of Wuxi University of Light Industry, Wuxi Institute of Education and Jiangnan College. It was withdrawn from the department and was established in June 5438 +2005 10. The college consists of English Department, Japanese Department, Foreign Language Teaching Department I and II, and Postgraduate English Teaching Department. There are also affiliated institutions such as English education research institute, foreign language training center and foreign language learning center, and teaching service units such as offices and reference rooms. The college has two undergraduate majors: English (normal and non-normal) and Japanese. There is a master's degree awarding point in English language and literature (applied linguistics, British and American literature, translation theory and practice); In addition to the teaching of this major, the college also undertakes the teaching tasks of public foreign languages such as English, Japanese and German for undergraduate and graduate students.
