It is located in Yangling Demonstration Zone, Shaanxi Province. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), a vice-ministerial university directly under the central government, a national "double-class" construction university, and a "985 Project" and "2 165438 Project".
Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in the middle section of century avenue, Xixian New Area City, Shaanxi Province, and in Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. It is a pilot university for the reform of excellent doctor (Chinese medicine) education and training plan, a national "14 th Five-Year Plan" construction university, a national "first-class specialty" and "first-class discipline" construction university in Shaanxi Province, and a pilot university for the national higher education wisdom education platform in Shaanxi Province.
