Counselors refer to school public officials engaged in students' ideological and political education, students' daily management, employment guidance, mental health and the construction of student party groups. Each counselor generally manages one or several classes. Counselors' duties shall be carried out according to the Professional Ability Standard for Counselors in Colleges and Universities (Provisional).
Students generally refer to those who are receiving education in schools, schools or other places of study, and those who study in research institutions or work units also call themselves students. Before, there were mentors and apprentices who were similar in nature to students. According to the different learning stages, we can divide students into: kindergarten students, primary school students, middle school students (junior high school students, senior high school students, technical secondary school students), college students (junior college students/vocational high school students, undergraduates), master students, doctoral students and so on.
