Shantou University English Language Center was established in September 2003. Its responsibility is to be in charge of English teaching (except professional English) and scientific research in the whole school, and also to guide English extracurricular activities in the whole school. The English Language Center of Shantou University was established to provide better teaching and a more free learning environment, so that students can gradually improve their communicative competence and critical thinking through creative and dynamic teaching activities.
