The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine was founded in 1869, which is a comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. 1984 was rated as the first batch of provincial civilized hospitals; 199 1 was awarded the advanced collective of the national health system; 1998 was awarded the "Top 100" hospitals in China and the Zhejiang Civilization Demonstration Hospital.
