Northwestern University is located in Chicago, Illinois, USA, and is affiliated to association of american universities. There are many historical sites in Chicago, such as Lincoln's former residence and Lincoln Memorial Hall, and Illinois is flat. It is hot in summer, cold and snowy in winter, and the surrounding enterprises are mostly manufacturing, printing, publishing and food processing. Northwest University has all kinds of stone buildings and dense vines. The tree-lined campus starts in Evanston and stretches for a mile along Lake Michigan. Students shuttle between the north and south campuses. The new building is adjacent to 14 mu lagoon, which is a part of 85 mu lake filling project in Gai Lou in 1960s. This geographical location provides students with an excellent place for picnicking, fishing, running, cycling, roller skating or daydreaming.
