Since 1980, applied senior management cadres have been trained (two-year specialized classes for cadres), and more than 400 management cadres have been trained for Zhejiang Province in the fields of business administration and public management (including more than 30 leaders at the prefectural and departmental levels and more than 330 leaders at the county level). As a designated training institution of the State Economic and Trade Commission and a training base for entrepreneurs in Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang University of Technology has undertaken the task of training leading cadres of large and medium-sized enterprises in Zhejiang Province entrusted by the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Economic and Trade Commission. Since 1990, several training courses on the qualifications of factory directors and managers and business administration training courses for leading cadres of large and medium-sized enterprises in the province have been held successively, and 1500 factory directors and managers of large and medium-sized enterprises and more than 3,600 factory directors and managers of small and medium-sized enterprises have been trained. All these have trained high-quality teachers and a strong team with close cooperation for the training of MBA program in Zhejiang University of Technology.
