The Development Course of Fujian Normal University School of Foreign Languages
From the beginning of the 20th century to 1953, the Foreign Languages Department of Fujian Normal University (English and Russian) merged, renamed, moved and finally settled in Fuzhou, which became the basis for 1972 to rename it the Foreign Languages Department of Fujian Normal University. Nearly a hundred years of history and rich humanistic environment have created a profound cultural accumulation in today's Foreign Languages Institute.

198 1 English Language and Literature was recognized by the Ministry of Education as one of the first four master's degree programs in normal English in China, and was rated as A level in the evaluation organized by 1995 the State Council Academic Degree Committee. 1995 co-sponsored the master's degree in comparative literature and world literature with the Chinese Department, which became a part of the provincial "2 1 1 project". In 2005, she successfully applied for a doctorate in English language and literature.
