Laiwu Campus of Shandong University of Finance and Economics is located at No.5 Shancai Street, Laiwu District, Jinan City, west of Fenghuang Road, east of Century City, north of Yimou Street and south of Jinyu Road Railway. It is a public undergraduate campus jointly built by the former Laiwu Municipal Government and Shandong University of Finance and Economics, with the former Laiwu Municipal Government as the main body of construction and Shandong University of Finance and Economics as the main body of running schools. The assets of Laiwu Campus are owned by Laiwu Municipal Government and managed and operated independently by Shandong University of Finance and Economics according to law.

As an integral part of Shandong University of Finance and Economics, Laiwu Campus is the only high-level state-owned public undergraduate college in Laiwu. The establishment of the campus is a landmark achievement for Shandong University of Finance and Economics and Laiwu Municipal People's Government to thoroughly implement the economic development strategy of the provincial capital city group of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and provincial government and accelerate the construction of the Jilai Cooperation Zone.
