Qi Ming University is located at the foot of Wolong Mountain in the west of Daegu City. Daegu is close to major cities in Korea-Kamei, Ulsan, Pohang and Gyeongju. It is convenient for students to have a deep understanding of Korean politics, economy and culture. This school has 19 college and 1 1 graduate school. Qi Ming University is the only university in the United States designated by CCIS. In order to better accomplish this mission, Qi Ming University publishes Acta Korea twice a year, and a large number of outstanding Korean researchers visit Qi Ming University every year, making it an important research center for Korean studies.
Qi Ming University provides an ideal learning environment for foreign students in Korea. At present, there are 5 1 foreign students studying in this school. This number is expected to increase further. Qi Ming University offers comprehensive Korean studies programs, as well as 122 English courses and other foreign language courses, such as Chinese, Japanese, German, French and Russian. In 2002, Qi Ming University started the KELI project to provide an efficient learning environment for potential international professionals.
