The Cancer Hospital affiliated to Sun Yat-sen University is one of the largest and most powerful oncology bases in China, integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and prevention. Its academic status and comprehensive strength have reached the national leading level, and it plays an important role in the cancer prevention and treatment in China, especially in Guangdong Province. It merged with the Cancer Institute of Sun Yat-sen University to become the Cancer Prevention Center of Sun Yat-sen University.
