In short, Xiamen University is closed during working hours from Monday to Friday. However, it is normally open to the public on weekends, holidays, winter and summer vacations. In addition, primary and secondary school students' group visits, official activities, business handling and visiting relatives and friends are not subject to this restriction.
From the day when tourists are restricted, two main entrances (South Gate and Xi) and five side doors (Daxue Road entrance, Baicheng entrance, Haibin entrance, Hu Lishan entrance and Furong Tunnel entrance) of Xiamen University are not allowed to enter by bike. Time: Siming Campus of Xiamen University is open from Monday to Friday;
12:00- 14:00 (limited to 300 visitors at noon);
17:00-24:00 (unlimited number of people at night);
Weekends, holidays, winter and summer vacations are open normally. Entrance visitors can only enter the school from the school gates of Danan and Qunxian. Visitors can swipe their cards to enter the school with their second-generation ID cards. Teachers and students can enter the school with valid certificates such as campus card, work permit, student ID card and school badge.
