Northeast Agricultural University (NEAU) is located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. It is a world-class discipline construction university. It is the first batch of key construction universities in the "2 1 1 project" jointly built by the people's government of Heilongjiang Province, the people of China and the Ministry of Agriculture.
It was selected into the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions of China, the pilot project of outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan, and the innovation ability improvement plan of universities. It is the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China, a provincial-level high-level university with key construction characteristics in Heilongjiang Province, the "Construction Plan for Aid to Xinjiang", and the first batch of scientific and technological achievements transformation and technology transfer bases in colleges and universities.
1948 was founded in Harbin.
