Southern Medical University, located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is the only national key university in Guangdong Province.
It is one of the first eight universities in China to offer eight-year undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in clinical medicine. It is the only medical college among the key universities in Guangdong Province, and the first batch of pilot universities in China to educate and train excellent doctors and excellent doctors (Chinese medicine).
The school has been selected into the national project of building a high-level university for public postgraduates, the training plan for top-notch students in basic discipline 2.0, the national "key discipline project with characteristics" and the first batch of pilot universities in China for excellent doctoral education and training plan.
The school, formerly known as the First Military Medical University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, was founded in 195 1, 1979 and was identified as a national key university in Yinxian County. In August 2004, it was transferred to Guangdong Province as a whole and renamed Southern Medical University.

(1) Graduates with nationally recognized academic qualifications should be previous undergraduate courses.

(5) Those who have obtained a master's degree or a doctor's degree may apply for a master's degree again, but they can only apply for a master's degree entrusted or at their own expense. Self-taught students and online education students must obtain a nationally recognized undergraduate diploma before they can apply for the exam.
4. The age is generally not more than 40 years old (born after August 3 1976), and the candidates who apply for entrusted training and pay their own expenses are not limited in age.
