Qinzhou University is Beibu Gulf University. On may 20th, 20 1 1, the people's government of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region sent a letter to the people's government of Qinzhou city, agreeing that the people's government of Qinzhou city should build Beibu gulf university on the basis of Qinzhou college, with a tentative construction period of five years. On 20 11July1day, the preparatory headquarters of Beibu Gulf University was formally established in Qinzhou University. Qinzhou University is the only ordinary undergraduate college in the coastal area of Guangxi Beibu Gulf, one of the first national model schools for language and writing, and one of the first national pilot universities for Universities of Applied Sciences's reform. Qinzhou College was founded in 1973, formerly known as Qinzhou Normal School. 199 1 was transformed into Qinzhou Normal University in May. In February 2006, Qinzhou Teachers College was upgraded to Qinzhou College. 20 13 March, the school was identified by the Ministry of Education as the first batch of pilot universities in Universities of Applied Sciences. 20/KLOC-April official website shows that the school is located in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, east campus, west campus and Chashanjiang District, Binhai New Area, Qinzhou City, covering an area of more than 800 mu. There are 13 secondary colleges and 2 teaching departments, 36 general undergraduate majors and 30 specialist majors. Enrollment is for 28 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government. There are 822 faculty members and full-time students 10737.
