Brief introduction of Ningbo University
Ningbo University, located in the north of Ningbo Higher Education Park, is a key university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Zhejiang Province, State Oceanic Administration and Ningbo City. It is the first batch of key universities in Zhejiang Province and a new type of local comprehensive university that has grown up in the reform and opening up. At present, the school has developed into a new research and teaching university, and its comprehensive strength ranks among the top 100 universities in China. During the establishment and development of the school, many people from "Ningbo Gang" and "Ningbo Gang" at home and abroad gave a lot of help and extensive support.
The school was established with the donation of the World Ship King, 1986, and the comrades wrote the name of the school. At the beginning of the school, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, China University of Science and Technology, Peking University and the former Hangzhou University helped to start the school-running process from a high starting point. 1996, the former Ningbo University, Ningbo Normal University and Ningbo Branch of Zhejiang Fisheries College merged to form a new Ningbo University.
