Cheng Zhihua, a native of Wuqiang County, Hebei Province, has a doctor of philosophy. He is currently an assistant to the president of Hebei University, director of the development planning office, professor of philosophy department and doctoral supervisor. He also serves as director international confucian association, executive director of China Modern Philosophy Research Association, member of Philosophy Teaching Committee of Ministry of Education, deputy director of Hebei Philosophy Teaching Committee and vice president of Hebei Confucianism Research Association. His main research interests are China's modern philosophy and comparative philosophy between China and the West.
