The planned land for the new campus of Air Force Military Medical University is 20 12 mu. The camp is mainly divided into six functional modules: teaching office, student dormitory, service support, medical treatment, innovation center and training. Camp culture, training and other supporting facilities can meet the work and life needs of more than 10,000 students and faculty.
The overall planning and design of the new campus has been basically completed, and the preliminary design of the project is currently under way. It is expected that construction will officially start in May next year and be completed in September 2025. By then, the school headquarters and 986 Hospital will be moved to the new campus as a whole.
In 20021year, with the approval of the Central Military Commission, it was agreed that the new campus of PLA Air Force Medical University should be adjusted to Xixian New Area Qinhan New Town as a whole. After the project is completed, it will be the first functional area for the school to educate people and fulfill its mission, and realize the overall planning function of medical innovation and clinical medical care.
