Training objectives: This major cultivates practical and compound business English talents with solid English basic skills, broad international vision, professional knowledge and skills in international business, applied linguistics, applied economics, business administration, international business law, etc., understanding the rules of international business activities, strong cross-cultural business communication skills and high humanistic quality, and being able to participate in international business competition and cooperation.
Training requirements: students in this major mainly receive comprehensive English skills training, understand the basic situation of English-speaking countries, master the basic theories and knowledge of applied economics, business administration and international commercial law, accept interdisciplinary and cross-cultural thinking ability training, have an international perspective, are familiar with Chinese and foreign cultures and foreign communication etiquette, have the ability to engage in business activities according to international practices, have good political and ideological literacy, strong innovation consciousness and certain innovation ability, and can adapt to economy, trade, management and finance.
Graduates should have the following knowledge and abilities:

English knowledge and skills courses account for 50%~60% of specialized courses, business knowledge and skills courses account for 20% ~ 30% of specialized courses, and cross-cultural communication courses and humanities literacy courses account for 5%~ 15% of specialized courses respectively.
Main practical teaching links: the practical teaching links of this major include experimental teaching, professional practice, business plan planning, learning activities, social practice and so on. All activities in practical teaching should be based on classroom teaching content and carried out under the guidance of teachers, aiming at stimulating students' interest in learning and cultivating their autonomous learning ability, comprehensive language application ability, organizational ability, communication ability, thinking ability and innovation ability.
