Internet cafes, game rooms, dance halls, small hotels, rental houses and other places around schools, especially colleges and universities, are concentrated, with a large flow of people, frequent business activities, high fire risk and great impact on accidents. All localities should profoundly learn the lessons of fire accidents, earnestly strengthen the fire safety management of rental houses and business premises around the campus, and resolutely prevent and contain fire accidents caused by mass casualties.

The notice requires that joint fire safety inspections should be organized immediately. All localities should carefully analyze and judge the fire laws and characteristics of rental houses and business premises around the campus, fully understand the fire safety situation, find out the outstanding hidden dangers, and ask the government to organize relevant functional departments to carry out a comprehensive joint fire safety inspection of rental houses, schools and surrounding areas such as urban-rural fringe and villages in the city.
