Guangxi university of chinese medicine, formerly known as Guangxi Nanning College of Medicine, was founded in 1934. Founded on 1956, 1958 was renamed Guangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 1964 was upgraded to Guangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 1970 was merged into Nanning Medical College, and was founded on March 20 12.

The school is dominated by traditional Chinese medicine, with the coordinated development of medicine, science, engineering and management, which has distinctive characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine. Industry-University-Research has two campuses, Huxian and Ming Xiu, with a total area of 1, 3 10.99 mu.
