Straits College of Minjiang University is the only joint talent training project of Fujian and Taiwan universities, which was cooperated by Fujian Education Department, Taiwan Province Chinese Culture University and Taiwan Province Shih Chien University in May 2009. Straits College actively promoted the cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, and built a team of teachers featuring the cooperation between teachers on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
