I'm just an undergraduate at Shenzhen University, so I'll just say something.

College Overview The School of Communication of Shenzhen University was formerly the Department of Mass Communication of Shenzhen University, which was established in 1985. Since then, it has been set up as the Department of Culture and Communication in China and the Department of Communication in the College of Literature. In 2006, based on the integration of communication department, advertising department, media and cultural development research center and other institutions, the School of Communication was established.

At present, the School of Communication has teaching and research institutions such as Communication Department, Advertising Department, Media Research Center and Communication Teaching Experimental Center. Train undergraduate and master students majoring in communication in five directions: news communication, radio and television, network and new media, advertising strategy and advertising design. At present, there are more than 0/000 full-time undergraduates and nearly 70 graduate students.

The School of Communication currently has 44 faculty members. Among them, there are 34 full-time teachers, 5 full-time experimenters and 5 administrative staff. Among the full-time teachers, there are 9 professors 1 1, associate professors 18 and lecturers. Among them, there are 23 doctors, and 5 professors and doctors are introduced from Japan, the United States and Hong Kong. There are 6 senior teachers with long-term experience in the news and communication industry. The teaching team has a strong faculty, including the Journalism Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, doctoral tutors, doctors who have returned from overseas study, the "Thousand Talents Program" in Guangdong Province, and outstanding teachers in Shenzhen. The subject structure of the teaching staff is reasonable and the academic structure is excellent. Most teachers graduated from famous universities at home and abroad, majoring in journalism and communication, as well as literature, economics, management, sociology, art, anthropology, geography, information science, educational technology and so on. It has formed the characteristics of obvious subject discipline and outstanding interdisciplinary advantages. The proportion of full-time teachers with doctoral degrees exceeds 50%, and the teaching staff has reached the excellent level of similar universities in China.

Communication College now has a modern communication teaching experimental center, which is the key experimental demonstration center of the school. There are enough teaching and experimental sites, and the investment in experimental equipment is increasing year by year.

The discipline of communication in School of Communication, Shenzhen University is currently a key (supporting) discipline in Guangdong Province, and the established Research Center for Media and Cultural Development is a key research base for humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities in Guangdong Province.

To tell the truth, the Media College of my school is not very good compared with other colleges.

However, although Hunan Normal University is a 2 1 1 university, the undergraduate admission score is not as high as that of Shenzhen University (the graduate students don't know), and Shenzhen University has a good geographical location and first-class hardware facilities.
