In accordance with the principle of "opening everything, returning to school in an orderly manner and starting school safely", organize students to return to school in batches. In principle, undergraduates and postgraduates will return to school in batches from February 17 to February 19. The Student Affairs Office, the Graduate School, the College of Continuing Education and the College of International Education should co-ordinate the work of returning students to school in batches.

In principle, all faculty and staff must return to Guangzhou (or the location of the campus) before February 15. Government officials and employees (including office staff of various campuses and teaching auxiliary units) officially started their work on Friday, February 17. The school, formerly known as Guangdong University for Nationalities, was founded in 1957 and renamed Guangdong Vocational and Technical Teachers College in 1998. In 2002, it was renamed Guangdong Technical Teachers College, and the former Guangdong Mechanical School was merged into the school. In 2005, the former Guangdong Economic Management Cadre College and Guangdong Finance and Trade Management Cadre College were merged into the school; 20 18 was renamed Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University.

By June 5438+00, 2022, the school had five campuses: East Campus, West Campus, North Campus, Heyuan Campus and Baiyun Campus.
