The School of Foreign Languages of Hunan Normal University was established in 1938, located in Longteng Building in the second half of the school campus. In 2007, English language and literature became a national key discipline, and in 20 17, foreign language and literature was selected as a national world-class construction discipline, becoming the only discipline in Hunan provincial universities to enter the national double-class construction.
