Donghua University (Donghua? Donghua University, located in Shanghai, was founded in 195 1 East China Institute of Textile Technology. It is the first textile institution of higher learning in New China, and its historical origin can be traced back to the Textile Printing and Dyeing Institute founded by industrialist Zhang Jian in 19 12. 1999, China Textile University was officially renamed Donghua University.
