College holidays count as absenteeism. Absence from college means not going to the class you should attend, and being absent from class. However, if you ask for leave because of something, you won't be absent for no reason. Tell the teacher the reason, and no credit will be deducted. If you need to ask for leave due to physical discomfort, you should see a doctor, write a sick note and ask for leave from the counselor. Asking for leave requires the approval of the counselor and the school. If you are absent without reason, your credits will be deducted.
