School of Light Industry, North China University of Science and Technology, located in Tangshan, Hebei Province. Founded in 200 1, it is an independent college sponsored by North China University of Science and Technology, approved by Hebei provincial government and confirmed by the Ministry of Education.

North China University of Science and Technology was formerly Hebei United University. On May 20 10, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the former Hebei University of Science and Technology and North China Coal Medical College were merged and formed, and the college was renamed as Light Industry College of Hebei United University. 20 15 May, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Hebei United University was renamed North China University of Science and Technology, and the College was renamed North China University of Science and Technology College of Light Industry.

According to the information of official website in August, 2023, the college has 6 provincial first-class professional construction sites, 3 provincial first-class courses, 3 provincial excellent courses 1 door, 3 provincial ideological and political demonstration courses, and 1 provincial demonstration center for ideological and political teaching. The teaching and research achievements have won 2 second prizes and 2 third prizes for provincial excellent teaching achievements.
