Some college students will work as ordinary workers in factories. Why do they think that college students are becoming less and less valuable?
My own experience can explain why some college students work as general workers in factories.

I graduated from the mechanical manufacturing major of the Institute of Technology of our province in 1989, and my graduation package was assigned to work in a well-known and prosperous color printing factory in prefecture-level cities. Because the factory is famous, many related households with different professional counterparts are gathered here.

So many students, in fact, only know mechanical drawing, and some nerd mechanical design, sitting in the department and fooling around one day, that was the state-owned enterprise policyholder at that time!

Just me and another colleague from the countryside, with the machine repair workshop master, engaged in welding, opened the bed, and mingled with them to debug the machine. A few years later, the machine in the workshop broke down and something went wrong. They came to us directly. Later, I returned to the Equipment Department to manage the drawings and files of the machinery and equipment of the whole factory, and really designed and modified the machines.

At present, there are few state-owned factories, most of which are private enterprises. If the boss of a private enterprise makes better use of you, he needs you to do practical things for him. Who needs so many mechanical designers who just graduated from college and can only draw mechanical drawings and abstract? If you want to make a difference, you have to start with ordinary workers in state-owned enterprises, learn from them with an open mind and succeed naturally.

It used to be very popular to graduate from high school, but now no one wants to graduate from college.

This is also a kind of social progress, which shows that people attach importance to education, but while attaching importance to education, universities are also divided into three levels.

Famous universities are easy to find jobs, while ordinary universities are more difficult.

It is not surprising that there are college students everywhere now, and they are worthless.

I graduated from junior college, and one of my classmates has a good job, but if you want a promotion and a raise, you need an undergraduate course, so he is now taking an undergraduate course himself.

Moreover, it is very simple to go to college now, and the conditions of all families are good. It is not too difficult for one or two children to go to college.

There are indeed many college students working in factories for many reasons.

First, there are many college students.

In recent years, an important reason why college students go to work in factories is that there are too many college students now, which leads to the inability of relevant professional society to digest so many students. This also makes many college students unable to find suitable jobs and choose to make a living in factories.

There are more than 1000 colleges and universities in China, with millions of college students, and millions of college students graduate every year. However, there are not so many new jobs that society can provide, not to mention the large number of graduates in some majors, which leads to the graduates of these majors unable to find professional counterparts after graduation from university.

Second, technical majors.

Some professional students are closely related to the factory. For example, many mechanical engineering students deal with machinery in factories, and many chemical engineering graduates also work in community chemical plants.

In other words, some professional college students go to work in factories after graduation. These college students study their own professional courses in the university. Four years after graduation, I passed the examinations of various courses and finally got the diploma and degree certificate. If they enter the factory to do their professional work after graduating from college, learning will be useful. For example, I have a high school classmate who majored in papermaking in college. Later, after graduating from college, I went to work in a floor factory, doing technical work, and also being a professional counterpart.

Third, the wage level is considerable.

Some college students work as white-collar workers in the company after graduating from college, but their wages are relatively low. However, if you go to work in a factory, although it is hard, the salary is relatively considerable.

As far as I know, some college students work in factories, not ordinary jobs, but various jobs in factories.

1. Workshop manager.

Those workshop managers have a certain degree more or less, which basically belongs to college education. At first, they also worked as general workers in the workshop. Maybe they not only have diplomas, but also have certain leadership skills. In this way, some of their advantages were discovered by the company's top management and then promoted. Finally, they may become workshop managers.

Second, team leadership.

Each section of the factory workshop has its own team leader, and these team leaders are basically controlled by people with a certain degree of education. The section chief in the workshop not only has a light and long task, but also manages a group of workers below, and his salary level is higher than his.

Office clerk.

There are also office clerks in the factory, who are responsible for the operation of the whole company, such as general office and finance. These positions are basically done by college students with academic qualifications.

Fourth, quality inspection.

The quality inspection in the factory basically has a certain degree of education, and most of the students in this field are college graduates. The wage level of quality inspection in the factory is similar to that of ordinary workers, but the manual labor will be relatively less.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) technology.

Some young people will choose to go to the factory to do technical work, which is basically done by people with college degrees. To do technical work, you need to have a certain ability to study and study, and you need to have strong communication skills.

Those who do technical work in the factory actually do a good job if their skills are good. Technicians have the same schedule as office clerks, including weekends and holidays, but their wages are relatively lower than those of workshop workers.

College students are worthless because there are too many college students, and there are undergraduate courses and specialties everywhere. Are college students really getting less and less valuable?

① Universal education

Now many universities have expanded their enrollment, which is better than those in the 1990s. Even if you can't get into the undergraduate course, it's more than enough to get into a junior college. There are more and more college students, and the demand for jobs is getting less and less, so college students have to enter the factory.

② The competition is fierce.

Job competition is becoming more and more fierce. Primary school teachers need graduate degrees, and ordinary factory clerks need junior college or undergraduate degrees, so many people have to get degrees. Even if their high school grades are not good, parents let their children study for a few more years.

With the popularization of education, fierce competition and the support of parents, more and more people are going to college. Things are scarce, so many people think that college students are becoming less and less valuable.

Are college students really getting less and less valuable?

(1) top student

There are more than 2,000 colleges and universities in China, and there are only 100 excellent schools such as 985, 265, 438+065 and 438+0. Yes, undergraduate courses are becoming more and more popular, but 985,438+065,438+0 schools are still very valuable. It is normal for boys to earn 200,000 yuan a year after graduating from a good computer school, and it is not bad for girls to become teachers after graduating from a good normal college.

② technical talents

I have a relative who has a university degree in software development. Universities study technology hard. The monthly salary during the internship period is 3k, and after several years of work, the monthly salary has been 10k. There are also accounting, railway industry and so on. As long as they really learn the technology, they can all live well in society.

I don't object to the view that college students are getting less and less valuable, but I think those who are really worthless are those who don't work hard in college, those who have no academic qualifications, have never studied technology and have never worked hard. Why is it valuable?
