The Historical Evolution of Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine
Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Medical College, established in 19 12, formerly known as Zhejiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital, was established in May of 195 1 year. The founder and the first dean are Professor Li Qihua, a famous pediatrician in China. Since 1954 was established independently, the hospital has been renamed as "Children's Health Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang Medical University" and "Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang Medical University", and has always used the name of "Zhejiang Children's Health Hospital". From 65438 to 0998, the former four universities, namely Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University, merged to form the largest comprehensive university in China. The hospitals were officially named Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University Medical College, Zhejiang Children's Hospital and Zhejiang Children's Health Hospital.
