Xihua university College of Food and Biological Engineering is a comprehensive college, offering specialties such as food science and engineering, biology and medicine, and agronomy. For the admission of graduate students, the college has formulated certain standards and procedures.

In addition, according to previous data, the admission score of food science and engineering specialty is about 3 10. However, high scores alone do not guarantee admission, because the college will re-examine candidates. The re-examination content mainly includes foreign language listening, oral test and professional ability test. These links aim to comprehensively evaluate the theoretical knowledge and application skills of candidates.
It should be noted that even if candidates successfully pass the re-examination and are admitted as graduate students, they may face some challenges. For example, some students reported that although they got the diploma of the first-class master of food science and engineering, they may not be able to apply for the second-class master of food science in the recruitment of internal work units.
