Since its establishment 26 years ago, the College of Continuing Education of Huaqiao University has advocated and practiced the concept of lifelong learning, and has been developing continuously in continuing education. It has successfully held advanced training courses for young cadres in the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee, professional certificate courses for senior cadres in the Industrial and Commercial Bureau, knowledge updating training courses for cadres in Quanzhou national tax system, training courses for senior cadres in Fujian tourist hotels, training courses for senior cadres of Zhongqiao Group, training courses for party and government cadres in Jishishan County entrusted by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, electromechanical classes of Hengan Group, marketing classes of Xunxing Zipper Group, papermaking classes, mold classes and so on. We cooperated well with Heng 'an Group and Xunxing Zipper Group in sending teachers to school, and made important contributions to the construction of two civilizations in the hometown of overseas Chinese, and was named as an advanced base for continuing education in Quanzhou. Over the past 26 years, the College of Continuing Education of Huaqiao University has trained more than 30,000 graduates for the society at home and abroad, covering 12 countries and regions, including nearly 4,000 overseas students. At present, there are more than 530 students studying in overseas teaching points. Previous graduates have played a key role in their respective posts and made contributions to the development and progress of the resident, which has been widely welcomed and praised by all walks of life.
