Wei Gang Campus of Nanjing Agricultural University is located in the center of Nanjing, which occupies a small area and is difficult to expand. Faced with the reality of insufficient teaching infrastructure, Pukou Campus is too far away from the headquarters, with a self-driving distance of about 30 kilometers and a commuting time of about 1 hour during peak hours, which brings great inconvenience to the teachers and students of our school.

Although the school has a white horse teaching and research base, it is not close to the campus and cannot be directly used for teaching. As a result, although the school has a nominal area of 10 thousand mu, the usable area is not large, so that in order to build a new dormitory in the old campus, the hills of the school have been stripped.
