Can high school graduates enter the National Defense University?
You can't. National Defense University only recruits local high school graduates, because they do not belong to institutions of higher learning, but belong to academic upgrading education and post education.

As can be seen from the above figure, there are two departments that recruit undergraduate graduates, but they need qualified technical college graduates:

1. enrollment of contract campaign command major in the basic department of national defense university: undergraduate graduates from command technical colleges of the whole army;

2. Graduate school enrollment: cadres who have served in the army for more than 2 years, graduated from universities, and trained in military schools.

Extended data

If you want to go to a national defense university, you must first go to a military school and grow into an officer, preferably a commanding officer. After graduation, you will wrestle at the grassroots level for a few years, preferably a company official, and then apply for the exam, which will have a greater chance.

However, it is more recommended to be a higher-level cadre, such as a battalion-level cadre, and then stay in a higher-level organ, so that your horizons will be broadened, otherwise you will learn strategy and combat at once, and your thinking level will not reach.
