How many graduate students does the Hebrew major of Peking University recruit each year?
There are 8 graduate students majoring in Hebrew in Peking University every year. The Teaching and Research Department of Ancient Oriental Studies (attached: Peking University Institute of Ancient Oriental Civilization) does not recruit undergraduates, and undertakes the teaching tasks of some compulsory courses, general courses and public elective courses in this department and our school. From 1998 onwards, the major of Asian and African languages and literature set up a master's degree in the direction of ancient oriental civilization, a doctor's degree in the direction of ancient western Asia culture in 2004, and a doctor's degree in the direction of ancient Anatolia-Indo-European culture in 2007. By the end of 20 10 * *, 23 postgraduate students and 8 doctoral students had been enrolled. There are 7 graduate students/kloc-0 and 2 doctoral students who have graduated and obtained their degrees.
