Hebei Radio and TV University, founded in 1978, is a new higher education institution sponsored by the People's Government of Hebei Province, directly under the Provincial Education Department, supported by modern information technology, and providing distance education for members of the whole society.
The school implements a systematic school-running and hierarchical management system, consisting of provincial TV universities, 13 municipal branches and 140 county-level TV universities (workstations), forming a complete school-running system covering all cities, counties and cities in the province.
