Tsinghua University, referred to as "Tsinghua" for short, is a deputy ministerial system directly under the Ministry of Education and the Central Government of People's Republic of China (PRC). Joined the "2 1 1 Project", "985 Project", "World-class University and First-class Discipline", and was selected into the "Experimental Plan for Training Top Students in Basic Subjects" and "Innovation Ability Improvement Plan of Colleges and Universities".
Peking University, abbreviated as "Peking University", was born in 1898, formerly known as Shi Jing University Hall. It is the first national university in China in modern times and the earliest one.
