Recently, I read an article that spared no effort to distort the MBA degree program of Shenandoah University in China, which can understand the behavior of competitors, because there are few similar programs in the market that can be compared with the MBA degree program of Shenandoah University, mainly because the cost performance is too high. University of Shenandoah is a national university with a history of 100 years, and its business school has AACSB certification. The MBA program was approved by Southern Higher Education (SACSCOC) of the U.S. Department of Education and enrolled students in China under the supervision of AACSB Committee. Similar projects can't compete with Shenandoah MBA, so we have to distort and slander it by disgraceful means, pretending to clarify as follows:
1, colleagues slandered our relationship with Shanghai Jiaotong University. The MBA China program of the University of Shenandoah in the United States has never publicized the cooperation with Shanghai Jiaotong University, but when the program entered China, it did negotiate with the overseas college of Jiaotong University, and finally the cooperation failed. However, the approval process of the project in the United States has been completed, and some lecturers are indeed from Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University. But we have never enrolled students in the name of running a school in cooperation with Jiaotong University. Besides, Jiaotong University is now so strict with its own brand management. If we advertised enrollment under the guise of Jiaotong University, as my colleague said, Shanghai Jiaotong University had warned us by phone long ago, but this never happened. Our office is next door to Shanghai Jiaotong University.
2. Colleagues slandered that the MBA degree program of Shenandoah University was not a degree program. Its reason is that the project name is GET-MBA, which is the abbreviation of GlobalExecutiveTrack MBA, and Chinese translation is an MBA for global executive training, so it is not a degree. GET-MBA is the abbreviation of Global Executive Track Master of Business Administration, which is translated into global executive MBA in Chinese. The school just added a prefix to facilitate the management of the project, which brought malicious distortion. The truth is:
Students who have completed 36 credits can get an MBA degree.
Chinese and American professors jointly teach in Shanghai, and most of the courses are undertaken by American professors, with bilingual face-to-face lectures and on-site translation.
The syllabus and teaching content of the whole course are carefully designed and supervised by the Business School of the University of Shenandoah, and China students who complete this project will receive MBA degree certificates. This degree certificate is the same as the MBA degree from the American headquarters of the University of Shenandoah.
Students can enjoy all academic journals, electronic libraries and other online learning resources of the University of Shenandoah.
All courses are taught in the form of intensive training on weekends.
