The age of conscription is not more than 25 years old. The age requirement for male soldiers is between 18 and 24 years old, for college students, under 22 years old, for vocational college graduates under 23 years old, and for graduates with bachelor degree or above, it is relaxed to 24 years old; Recruitment age of female soldiers 17 to 22 years old. The age limit will be relaxed if the army needs it or requires it specially.
4. Height
The height requirement for male soldiers is adjusted from the minimum 162 cm to more than 160 cm; The height requirement of female soldiers is adjusted from the minimum 160cm to above 158cm, but the height requirements of recruits in different arms are also different. The weight is still not lower than 15% of the standard weight and not higher than 25% of the standard weight.
The process of college students' enlistment includes: online enlistment, participation in physical examination and political examination organized by villages and towns, participation in pre-job education and training, determination of soldiers and whereabouts, and departure and handover of recruits.
When a female soldier needs to meet the following conditions:

Article 19 The number, conditions and time of annual enlistment for active service throughout the country shall be stipulated by the State Council and the Central Military Commission (CMC) (hereinafter referred to as the Central Military Commission). The local people's governments at or above the county level shall organize military service organs and relevant departments to set up conscription agencies and be responsible for organizing and implementing conscription work.
Fifteenth male citizens who have reached the age of eighteen before December 31st each year shall be enlisted for active service. Those who have not been recruited in that year can still be recruited for active service before the age of 22, and the recruitment age of ordinary college graduates can be relaxed to 24. According to the needs of the army, female citizens may be recruited for active service in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph. According to the needs of the army and on my own initiative, citizens who have reached the age of1February 3 1 day, but have not reached the age of 17 18 can be enlisted for active service.
Twenty-first citizens who are in military service registration for the first time and meet the conditions of preliminary examination are called eligible citizens.
