Guizhou University is a world-class discipline construction university, 2 1 1 key engineering construction university, and the only 21/university in Guizhou Province. Guizhou University has a long history, but its overall strength is relatively weak, and its heavy history has not supported its development.

2. Guizhou Institute of Technology

Guizhou Institute of Technology was officially approved by the Ministry of Education on April 20 18 13. In order to meet the demand of Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Government for applied talents in science and engineering, it is a full-time public science and engineering provincial ordinary undergraduate college established in the original campus of Guizhou University of Technology with the coordinated development of industry, science and management.

3. Guizhou Medical University

Guizhou Medical University, referred to as Guiyi, was founded in 1938, formerly known as Guiyang Medical College. It was one of the nine national medical schools under the Ministry of Education at that time. 1950 was placed under the management of Guizhou Provincial People's Government and renamed Guiyang Medical College. It is one of the universities implementing the basic capacity-building project in the central and western universities, a key institution of higher learning in Guizhou Province, and the only medical doctor degree awarding unit in Guizhou Province.

4. Guizhou Police College

Guizhou Police College is sponsored by the People's Government of Guizhou Province, in charge of public security in Guizhou Province, and the business management of the Education Department of Guizhou Province. It is the only full-time public security undergraduate college in the province. Its predecessor was the Public Security Cadre School of Guizhou Provincial People's Government, which was founded in February 1950.

5. Guizhou University of Finance and Economics

Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, located in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, is a training base for economic management talents in Guizhou Province. It has been selected into the key professional construction project of first-class universities in Guizhou Province, the first-class platform construction (cultivation) project of first-class universities in Guizhou Province, and the second batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
