The general school of the College is in Guangzhou, and there are three off-campus teaching points of the College of Continuing Education, such as Yushantan, Xiatangxi, Guangdong Technician College (Guangzhou Branch), Dongguan, Zhongshan and Shantou. The College of Continuing Education is a work-centered higher vocational education for adults at the junior college level, taking into account arts, economics, management and arts. At present, it has 10 departments (departments) such as mechanical and electrical engineering department, architectural engineering department, computer information department, management engineering department, finance and economics department, foreign languages department, design art department, humanities and social sciences department, ideological and political theory course teaching department, sports department, etc., and has set up electromechanical integration technology.
The College of Continuing Education actively promotes the "double certificate" system in higher vocational education, vigorously promotes continuing education training and textual research, and improves students' comprehensive competitiveness. College is the designated training and assessment point of computer professional knowledge for civil servants and professional technicians in Guangdong Province, the professional title English training point, the national computer and public English proficiency test training point and test center, the China secretary post qualification certificate training point and test center, and also the cadre training center of Guangdong Association for Science and Technology. Guangzhou Station of National Vocational Skills Appraisal of Machinery Industry and Training and Textual Research Station of Secretary Professional Committee of China Higher Education Association are the first batch of elevator industry appraisal stations in the first batch of universities in China, and the only station in South China.
