Viewing Lin Senhao's Poisoning Case of Fudan University from the Legal Angle
This case shows that China's legal awareness and rules education is weak. Although there is legal knowledge education in the classrooms of large and medium-sized schools in China, many students have no legal awareness, law-abiding awareness and sense of responsibility. Just like the students who poisoned Fudan University, they repeatedly argued that they were joking and didn't seem to realize that their actions were serious crimes. In fact, in primary and secondary schools, there are indeed many vicious pranks suspected of illegal crimes. For example, in class, students stand up to answer the teacher's questions, and some students quietly move the stool away, resulting in serious injuries when sitting down. For these pranks, schools often downplay them from the perspective of protecting students. In essence, this is a serious injury accident, and the students involved should be investigated for legal responsibility. Due to the lack of serious accountability, students do not form a strong sense of legal responsibility and do not take the rules seriously.
