There were schools in China more than 4000 years ago. At that time, the name of the school was "Itch". A higher-level university is called "upper itching", and a lower-level primary school is called "lower itching". In the Xia dynasty (2 1 century-BC16th century), schools were divided into four grades, namely, learning, eastern class, western class and school.
In the Shang dynasty (BC16th century-BC 1066), the names of these four schools were Xue, Right Sect, Left Sect and Order Sect.
Later dynasties also set up schools in the palace, which were called "Biyong" and "Chengjun".
