Suzhou University is located in Suzhou, a famous historical and cultural city known as "paradise on earth". It is the first batch of universities listed in the national "2 1 1 project" and "201/plan". It is a "double-class" university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province.

This year, it is planned to enroll about 4,500 students (including recommended students who are exempt from the test), including about 3,600 full-time students and about 900 part-time students, depending on the enrollment scale issued by the Ministry of Education. According to the plan officially issued by the Ministry of Education, the enrollment situation, the status of students and the needs of school development, the enrollment scale of each major should be appropriately adjusted.
