The College of Humanities of Northeast Normal University was founded in 1988, formerly known as Jilin Foreign Language and Culture Exchange Center, and has gone through the development stages of Jilin International Language and Culture College and Jilin Foreign Economic and Trade Vocational College. In February 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the College of Humanities of Northeast Normal University was formally established.
The school has two campuses in the east and west, 12 grass-roots departments, 48 undergraduate majors, covering 9 disciplines. Since 2009, it has jointly trained graduate students with six universities including Northeast Normal University and changchun university of science and technology. 20 17 Provincial Department of Education approved the construction of colleges and universities authorized by master's degree. At present, there are more than 500 undergraduates and jointly trained postgraduates11.
