Wenbo College of East China University of Political Science and Law is the first batch of higher political science and law institutions established in New China. Founded in June, 1952, it is a university with distinctive characteristics in economics, management, arts and sciences, and is known as the "Oriental Pearl of Legal Education". East China University of Political Science and Law released four majors (categories) in the spring exam of 2002/KLOC-0, namely, investigation (the direction of economic investigation, with the proportion of female students not exceeding 30%), sociology (social management and social work), law (the experimental class of excellent foreign-related commercial legal talents and the experimental class of Shanghai-Hong Kong exchange excellent foreign-related legal talents), political science and administration.
