The college actively implements the strategic idea of opening up schools and has established inter-school exchange relations with some universities in more than 20 countries and regions such as the United States, Britain, Japan and Finland. Seven-year and eight-year Sino-French clinical medical experimental classes jointly trained with Nancy University in France and five-year clinical medical experimental classes jointly trained with the University of Chicago in the United States have been established one after another.

College has become the cradle of cultivating excellent medical talents with high quality and innovative consciousness. Wuhan University People's Hospital, Central South Hospital and Stomatological Hospital are three national first-class hospitals, which are the bases for early contact clinical education for all medical students.
